When using advertising materials there are many things to consider, which logo version is the right one for the respective purpose, which colours and fonts have to be used, what should the general visual language be like and where should the logo be positioned optimally? These are only some of the questions that can be asked as when creating further documents that are to be carried in the communication of the company to the outside world. An answer to these questions is often provided by a style guide, which was usually created during the development of the CI.
In practice, a corporate design style guide unfortunately only has the disadvantage that it is very static and therefore cannot be scaled and developed with the company, the values of the company and the new communication channels. An alternative is a dynamic so-called "Living Style Guide", frequently used in the form of a corporate portal.
